Dr Kevin Vandeleur (MB.BS (QLD), FRANZCO, FRACS)

Dr Vandeleur is a foundation member of the Excimer Laser Vision Group, which was established in 1991.
He is actively involved in refractive surgery and is one of the pioneers of the Lasik procedure in Australia. As a leading Refractive Ophthalmologist, Dr Vandeleur provides ongoing education and training to medical officers entering the specialised field of Refractive surgery.
Dr Vandeleur is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), Oceania Retinal Association (ORA) and the International Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ISCRS).
Dr Vandeleur is also currently Queensland's designated investigator for the Implantable Contact Lens (ICL) Australian TGA trial. This technology offers hope for patients that experience high degrees of myopia and hypermetropia.
Dr Vandeleur has succeeded in becoming Director and Developer of Brisbane's first licensed free standing Ophthalmic Day Surgery - Eye-Tech. Eye-Tech Day Surgery, established in 1994, is one of many practices that he visits.

(www.bnec.com.au) and Ladhope Chambers are his residing private practises, although he assists as visiting Medical Officer for four major hospitals throughout Brisbane.
