Laser eye surgery is claimable on your tax return with the net medical expenses tax offset.
A tax offset of 20% is available to any taxpayer whose net medical expenses in the year of income exceed $2,000.The amount of the rebate is currently 20%. This means that 20% in every dollar spent on medical expenses, which is over the $2,000 threshold, is rebated to the taxpayer.
Certain conditions apply – we recommend that you check with your tax accountant to confirm your eligibility.

New technology has increased confidence in laser eye surgery...
New technology has increased confidence in laser eye surgery so much so that Excimer Laser Vision Centre will enlarge their centre by taking up adjacent office space. In addition to this, a complete refit will give the Centre a refreshing new look, and improve patient comfort in more ways than one. The refit will incorporate a post operative recovery area, an adjoining analysis and mapping room, and comfortable seating in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in reception.
